ScareCo of Tarpon Springs Recognized as one of the Top 10 Haunted Houses in the Nation

ScareCo, a volunteer, community haunted house in Tarpon Springs Florida, was recognized last year as one of the Top 10 Haunted Houses in the nation by Rand McNally. Rand McNally’s list profiles some of the best, largest, and most innovative haunts in the nation.

“We take an unconventional approach to the traditional haunted house experience, which  us do some fairly incredible, unexpected things”, says R.J. Latherow, CEO of ScareCo.  “We are thrilled to have been noticed, and humbled to be on the list with some of the giants in the industry”

ScareCo will be operating 2 haunted houses on at 105 East Tarpon Ave in downtown Tarpon Springs.  They are open Friday and Saturday nights from 7-11 weekends from Oct 14 through 31.  Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.  more

ScareCo began two years ago with an experimental haunted house in downtown Tarpon Springs, and continues to grow in size and scope. The ScareCo Haunted House is built and staffed by volunteers, many of whom are local theatre students. ScareCo producers bring a rich and varied background of experience to their work, including television, marketing, new media, professional theatre – even the circus.
